Shame by Cleon Peterson is a new limited edition sculpture that embodies inner human turmoil. The figure bows his head to his hands, directing the weight of his burdens through his sword. To the artist, this pose represents an enduring battle between self-awareness and the dominating influence of external forces. As conflict of consciousness builds, a feeling of shame often arises – but an opportunity for redemption will always present itself. Starting with a sketch, Cleon worked closely with our specialist production partner to create a 3D model of the piece, which he then transformed into a resin-cast sculpture.
