About This Artwork
In jewelry the double infinity symbol combines two everlasting commitments. One lifetime dedicated by each person, put together = two. Double infinity. The imagery is a comment on the temporary nature of relationships and long term commitments. The snakes are rendered in three metallic golds to help simulate the surface of gold wedding bands. NOTES: 24 x 18 inches /// 5 screens (4 metallic screens. I also backed all the black ink with metallic gold to give the whole print some shimmer) /// signed and numbered artist editions: 100 on white paper & 34 refractors on holofoil stock /// show edition: 225 (sold at venue) /// August 7, 2014 at Staples Center in Los Angeles
