18 x 24 – 3 color silkscreen – edition of 200 - I was approached by Edward Sharpe's mananagement to make a print for the first date of their upcoming US tour. I wanted the image to touch on Alex Ebert's dramatic transition from Ima Robot to his new band. The wild stallion emerging from the flames symbolizes a rebirth, a new beginning as he runs forward into the unknown. I also found a more loose approach was fitting for the band's style.
