My vision for this print was to blend the 'Star Gate' sequence from 2001 with those awesome giant insect Sci-Fi posters from the 50s. The movies I had in mind that I thought were a good match to the Foo's aesthetic were, The Deadly Mantis, Them and The Wasp Woman. The image is a wormhole looking through space infested with psychedelic beetles. The scarab serves as a metaphor of the Foo's immortality in Rock history. .
