My friend Seth approached me about working on a private commission last year. The idea was that a variety of artists (Dan Black and Zeb Love thus far) would create an original piece of art loosely based on Grateful Dead lyrics. Seth actually came to me with the idea of illustrating the track Mexicali Blues with Day of the Dead style imagery. This one is 14 colors and features some of my best floral work to date. .
