I can't believe that it's been a decade since my last QOTSA print, I'm definitely starting to lose track of time. 'Like Clockwork', the band's newest record, was already in heavy rotation in my studio when this job came in. I decided to focus on one track in particular: My God is the Sun. The lyrics conjured up a images from the Amen Ra dynasty lead by Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti. The two were known for leading a religious revolution that worshipped one god, the sun.
