I envisioned the wildlife surrounding Red Rocks hearing all the peaks and valleys and eclectic sounds from Widespread's performance reverberating throughout the walls of the sandstone monuments. They are totally transfixed by the music and absorb the vibrant crashing waves of sound. This amphitheater is a space like no other and stands alone as the most awe inspiring venue in the country. . Initially, I conceived this art to be a collaborative effort between myself and Emek but time didn't permit and we both decided it best to wait. In my mind Emek and Sperry are the twin titans of modern rock poster art! Maybe the stars will align at some point in future. It would be my honor!
