French oceanscape photographer Fotomas turns surf breaks around Hossegor in southern France into saturated studies of sea, spray, and motion.

The series leans on very long exposures and creative color filters, stretching waves into soft horizontal bands while keeping the charge of the surf break intact.

Long Exposure, Bright Water
What might be a straightforward surf photograph becomes something stranger: silhouettes melt into water, foam becomes a streak, and the horizon turns into fields of pink, blue, gold, and sea green.
